Adding special tags to your e-mail campaigns
Suite26 allows you to add a number of special tags into your e-mail campaigns which will get replaced with the correct values when your campaign is sent.
This is useful for adding in the the current date or time, among other things.
Inserting Special Tags
You can use the Insert Special Tag facility when adding/editing your campaign content. Select the tag you want to insert from the dropdown and then hit the insert button.
Please Note: Some web browsers will insert the code at the cursor positon in the content area whilst others will place it at the bottom of the content. Depending on the browser you use you may need to reposition the special piece of code as required.
So, for example, if you send a monthly newsletter you can have the month name complete automatically. The code in your campaign content would look something like:
Welcome to the {SPECIAL($monthname)} newsletter!
